The Streets of Cabo
We are only 1 week away from leaving on our trip to Sayulita and I can't get Mexico off my mind. I think a winter holiday to somewhere warm and sunny is just what the doctor ordered for everyone in the PNW (this is me talking you into going on a trip haha). The last time we were south of the border was for our wedding back in June and so I thought what better blog to post this week than that of our photo shoot with Kati Hoy the night before our wedding on the beaches and streets of Cabo.
The night of our shoot we picked up Kati from her hotel just down the street from ours and set off to find some authentic streets to do a fun Cabo photo shoot. As we drove through town we were feeling a little unsure if it would be smart to just pull off and frolic around the streets where we had never been before. I have to tell you though it was SO much fun. Todd and I had never had our photos taken professionally as a couple before, so being in Mexico it only felt natural to take a couple of tequila shots to take the edge off our nerves. We started on the outskirts of downtown Cabo and found some romantic buildings and some very authentic graffitied streets too. It was everything I imagined it to be. As the sun was setting we headed for the beach to grab just a few more photos before the light was gone.
Mexico will always have a place in my heart and I could not be more excited to explore more of this beautiful country next week. If you have any recommendations in Sayulita, I would love to hear them. Can't wait to share pictures of our trip with you in coming weeks!
